Health coverage & insurance assistance

Access-to-Care Guidance for Families Across the US

Our team provides health insurance assistance across the United States, helping residents apply for Medicaid, ACA Marketplace plans, and other coverage. We also connect families with related programs, such as SNAP (food stamps) and utility assistance, to reduce financial strain.

Community resource mapping & referrals

Through our community resource database, we help residents find local support such as food pantries, mental health services, and job training opportunities. This one-stop referral system ensures people can access the right help close to home.

Community health volunteering program

Training and service opportunities

Volunteers are the heart of Worry Free Community. Whether serving as clinic assistants, event organizers, or community health workers in training, volunteers make a direct impact on neighbors in need.

We also offer community health worker training, equipping participants with the skills to educate others and extend care into underserved neighborhoods. By joining our volunteer network, you’ll gain meaningful experience while strengthening public health across Glendale Heights and DuPage County.

Faith-based PCOR initiative

Research rooted in community voice

Worry Free Community leads a nationally recognized Muslim health research initiative through Mosque-Based Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR). This program trains mosque leaders and community health workers to collect feedback on local health needs and design solutions guided by patients and caregivers.

We developed the Mosque-PCOR Toolkit in 2019 to support these efforts, and our work has been acknowledged by organizations such as PCORI and IMANA. By combining scientific research with cultural understanding, this program brings patient voices directly into the healthcare conversation.
