Planned Giving
Planned giving for lasting impact
Planned giving allows you to include Worry Free Community in your long term financial plans, creating a legacy of support for community health. These gifts can continue to serve families facing hardship long after they are made.
What planned gifts support
Sustaining community health into the future
Planned gifts can strengthen endowments, support long range clinic planning, and underwrite new initiatives as needs shift. They help ensure that free and charitable care, coverage counseling, and community health training remain available to future generations. Some donors choose to direct planned gifts toward specific areas, while others leave them flexible to address emerging concerns. In each case, the impact extends well beyond a single year.
How planned giving works
Options to fit your situation
Planned giving can take many forms, including bequests, beneficiary designations, or other estate planning tools. Worry Free Community encourages donors to work with their own advisors to choose the option that best fits their circumstances. Our role is to help you think through how a future gift might align with your values and the programs you care about. Together, we can outline intentions so your plans are clear and honored.
Planning your legacy
Simple steps to start the conversation
You do not need every detail decided before reaching out. Starting with a simple conversation can help you explore possibilities and questions.
- Identify the programs or areas you hope to support.
- Talk with your financial or legal advisors.
- Share your intentions with Worry Free Community so we can plan well.
Why planned giving matters
Extending care beyond today
Planned gifts help organizations weather changes in funding and expand services when new needs emerge. They send a powerful message that community health is worth investing in over the long term. For families and individuals, planned giving can also become a way to pass on values of generosity and justice. Your future gift can continue to touch lives in Chicagoland long after it is made.
Planned Giving Goals
Our long term aim is to grow a base of legacy gifts that will keep community health work strong for future generations.
By the end of 2026, we hope to welcome at least five new planned commitments totaling $250,000 in future support.
